Meet China through its great contrasts: imperial courtyards and ancient warriors, soft river landscapes and a skyline that looks to tomorrow.
Walk the Great Wall and explore the Forbidden City.
Meet the Terracotta Army and taste Shaanxi’s noodle culture.
Trade the city’s rhythm for limestone peaks and river views.
Finish with neighbourhood walks and an evening on the Bund.
An itinerary idea, not a scheduled departure. Transport, inclusions and pricing are discussed with your enquiry.

A little less rushing.
A little more being there.

Every place
has a deeper story.
A LITTLE CONTEXT CHANGES EVERYTHING
The places are extraordinary. Their stories make them unforgettable.
Discovered in 1974, the Terracotta Army belongs to the burial complex of Qin Shi Huang, China’s first unifying emperor. Look closely: the individual faces bring a distant imperial world into remarkably human focus.
The Great Wall is a history of many dynasties, landscapes and building traditions. Around Beijing, familiar stone ramparts tell part of the Ming story; they are one chapter in a much longer history of northern fortifications.
History continues beyond monuments: in Lijiang’s waterways and old streets, in Sichuan teahouses, and in the food shared around a table. Leave space in your itinerary to notice it.
A LITTLE KNOW-HOW, BEFORE YOU GO
A good journey begins with a few practical conversations. Here are the things worth thinking about first.
High-speed rail can make the journey part of the experience. For longer distances, compare rail and domestic flights, and allow time to enjoy each stop.
China Railway information ↗Shaanxi noodles, Guilin rice noodles, Sichuan hotpot: China’s food is as regional as its landscapes. Share your preferences and dietary needs when planning.
Tell us what you love ↗China is too varied for one perfect travel month. Choose your regions first, then consider climate, altitude, local holidays and the pace you enjoy.
Talk through your dates ↗A focused route is a helpful starting point. Combine a few major destinations, leave breathing room between travel days, and discuss any language, mobility or dietary requirements before choosing an itinerary. The first-encounter route above is designed as inspiration.
Entry rules depend on your nationality, passport, route and length of stay. Check the current requirements with the Chinese embassy or consulate responsible for your passport before booking. The Chinese Visa Application Service Center can help you find the relevant application centre.
That is what the enquiry is for. Tell us which places interest you, your approximate dates, who is travelling and how you like to spend a day. The sample routes are conversation starters; specific arrangements, availability and prices are agreed separately.
Check passport and entry requirements, appropriate travel insurance, your bank’s overseas card arrangements, mobile connectivity and any reservations. Keep names consistent with your passport, including rail bookings. Always use current official guidance for your circumstances.
